Agricultural baler also known as hay baler is a machinery used to compress a cut and raked crop (such as cotton hay flax straw and silage) into compact size bales. Agricultural balers makes bales that are easy to transport, handle, and store. Bales are majorly used in dry state to preserve the nutritional value of the plants bundled. Square shaped bales are easy to handle, store, and transport and wastage of cheap crops are baled into square shape. The advantage of round bales is to shed rain water when they are properly stored in outdoor. Two types of technologies are available for round balers, which include belts and dual chains connected by bars. Chain baler technology uses chains and connecting bars combined with a roller at the bottom of the chamber to spin the material while the belt balers have a series of belts and rollers that spin the material in the chamber.
